Experience
Long-term, in-depth involvement in this highly
specialized field of power plant acoustics
has provided us with a unique and
comprehensive understanding of power plant
operations. This knowledge base allows us
to make informed decisions that directly translate
into significant cost savings for our clients.
Services
Hessler Associates can provide the full scope of services
for analyzing and designing all the necessary noise control
features for a power plant. Traditional noise control applications
are known to cause mechanical systems to perform at less
than optimal conditions by increasing operating load, heat
load, and pressure losses, just to name a few.
The cost of appropriate noise controls is not usually trivial but early analysis and design implementation can
greatly reduce these negatives along with operating costs. Often insufficient attention is paid to noise
until a new facility is initially operational and problems become evident that usually could been averted at
a fraction of the eventual cost.
