| Facility Noise Modeling |
Analytical noise modeling of industrial facilities and power stations is a powerful tool that
allows cost/benefit analyses to be carried out on potential noise mitigation measures while
a new project is still on paper and identifies what retrofit measures make the most economic
sense at existing facilities with excessive environmental noise emissions.
Hessler Associates uses the sophisticated CadnaA® modeling program developed by DataKustik
GmBH (Munich, Germany) that was developed specifically for industrial facilities and transportation
applications. With this tool even the most complex facilities can be realistically modeled.

Working from two-dimensional CAD drawings, a 3-D rendering of the facility is created in the model, Gas Treatment Facility
as illustrated above, so that on-site structures and equipment realistically act as noise barriers Combined Cycle Power Plant
with respect to certain sources and receptor directions.
